This may be a stupid/petty question but, are there any states out there that are allowing their high school officials to wear the gray officiating shirts?
The NFHS Manual (Page 10) states that: "Standard black/white vertically striped" shirts are the approved uniform, and our state has chosen to follow that interpretation to the letter, not allowing anyone to wear the gray shirt. We actually had officials fined last year for wearing the gray shirts for high school contests. Many of our officials feel that the gray shirts are very comfortable and look much better than the standard black and white. Just curious the see if anyone out there is wearing the new gray shirt. |

[/B][/QUOTE]As per the the NFHS, all thongs must be black and white striped. It's in the casebook somewhere. |
I am in Florida and this year it is an option for associations.
My association has decided to make the switch I wish we would stay with the black and white, but some people like change just for the taste of change. |

I just thank God it's not in the Simplified and Illustrated! |

That link is unbelievable.
I would try the gray shirt if everybody in my area wanted to, but frankly, I don't see why it's any better. |
Chuck's pissed because he paid $15 for his.

Why didn't you post this about two weeks earlier. We just celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary last Saturday. I could have gotten it for her for our anniversary. If I had gotten it for my better half, I would now be online looking for a good divorce lawyer. MTD, Sr. |
