Hi all,

We've seen the light and are moving to the NFHS 2 person mechanics ( to be used with the NCAA men's rules) for our high school ball north of the border.

I have yet to recieve my manual and I am to instruct the differences between NFHS 2 person and FIBA 2 person at a clinic this week.

Does anyone have an online copy they could email me or send me some of the major differences between the 2.

As far as I know, the NFHS doesn't put any of its publications online, and that includes the official's manual. It sounds like you've already ordered one, so it may just be a "sit and wait" situation.

And since I'm not at all familiar with FIBA mechanics, I can't give you any help. If you post a specific situation, we can probably tell you how it would be handled in FED mechanics. Sorry I can't be more help than that.

I work both FIBA and NFHS and can assure you they are VERY, VERY different. Way to many differences to list. Sit back and wait for the book.

I googled "FIBA" & "NFHS" & "differences" and came up with some hits. The one that seems to be what you want is:

After reading throught them all, some of the NFHS need updating. Don't know about FIBA.
