Does a coach automatically lose the box on a T or do you take it from him as part of the infraction? I T'd a coach tonight and did not mention the box, but he acted real decent after the T so it did't make any difference (this time, what about next?) Thanks inadvance!!!!!!

If it's a direct T or and indirect as a result of bench personnel receiving a T, the coach must sit down. You shouldn't have to tell him but we usually have a partner remind him, just as a preventative measure.

I had a rec game tonight where a player dunked during halftime. We started the 2nd half with a T but I didn't sit the coach down. In a high school game, I would have but the guys didn't give us any problems all night. Sometimes it best to not to make trouble where there isn't any.

The T was on an assistant coach who was on the bench, never heard another word from him or the head after that.

Good deal! If he'd kept his mouth shut to begin with, his coach wouldn't have had to sit!
