Amen. I've had this exact same conversation with other coaches before, especially at the rec travelling team level. It's one of the things that we both seem to have in common. Both groups end up losing good people because of the external crap.

Another thing we have in common (or at least I have in common with mick) - my hearing starts getting worse when noises emanate from the stands. I listen to parents who know what they are talking about and don't have an agenda - the others are the worst fans in the world.
