Hi, I am wondering if there is a dowloadable case book?

Mark Padgett Sat Jun 12, 2004 09:15pm

I assume you're talking about the NF casebook. The NF does not make any of its publications available on-line. Sales of their books generate a substantial portion of their revenue. Also - all material in their books is copyrighted, so be careful of violating that.

I understand their reason for only making it available only in paper, but it sure would be nice to have it in a digital format or database so that you could search for key words. It would also be cool to have it available for PDAs.

I would think that putting it online for everyone to read might help more fans, coaches, players, etc in understanding the rules. All though it might just create more misunderstandings of the rules ( if that's possible)

I would think that the majority of the people that buy the book would still want to purchase a hard copy of it even if it was online.

Why buy it when you can print your own hard copy?

It would probably be cheaper to buy for $6 compared to the cost of the paper and ink.

Good point lol.

I think I would still buy it even if I had a PDF version.

$6?? Down here they want 8 bucks. Where did you find it for 6 dollars. Yes, it would be nice to have it on the web.

Order NF Books from here

You have to order more than $10 worth for them to send anything to you. But at the very least, the cost is less than $8 for the book itself.

And where do you pay $8 for a NF Book?

Peace

Someones making some profit if you ask me. Not a bad idea actually... books (mechanics, case, and rule - are included in our pre-season packs - but we pay for them with our dues.
