IMHO, i think you were right would just shoot the 2 shots from the technical and give the ball out. The technical is added to the team fouls like you did, however i wouldn't shoot any free throw resulting from the bonus situation.
My theory is that you would shoot the 't' and continue the game like the 't' never happened. keep smiling SH
