It requires some hustle but You need to be there. How can a person ref the lead when the ball is in front court and you are still moving to baseline. I don't get this. I've never been told to be at the endline before the ball gets to mid-court. In fact, I've been told NOT to be that far ahead of the play. What am I missing? Does it depend on where the other players are in relationship to the ball?
