A hypothetical play inspired by Why or why not.
Here's a play that occurred to me the other night. A1 is dribbling and moving towards his basket as B1 and B2 trail on either side of him. A1 plants and comes to a sudden stop, pushing the ball to the floor and holding it there briefly as B1 & B2 fly by, keeping them from easy access to the ball. After B1 & B2 go by, A1 then slaps at the ball to restart the dribble. What's your call?
