For what it is worth, I am from Lexington, Ky. (home area for Tina Napier and Lisa Mattingly). Not that our newspaper knows anything for sure, but it did mention that Lisa Mattingly is expected to work the Women's Finals tomorrow night...

Go to the movies. Take a six-pack with you, too. Enjoy. Then we won't have sit in front of our computers, getting madder by the minute at some dexterhead fanboy who doesn't know or understand the rules of basketball.

Shoo, fanboy, shoo!

Actually, longer than four is when you should start to worry . . .

I heard that the FDA has approved Viagra to be used by dentists. It's only supposed to be used in conjunction with female patients that cannot tolerate normal freezing or nitrous oxide. The theory is that the dentist takes it, and then later it will give the patient something to hang onto while they're getting a tooth pulled.

Time is better spent analyzing their opponent
Hardly consistent with the opinion you put forth in our discussion earlier today. IMO.
Completely consistent, IMO. I don't think either coach would have expected that Duke- Uconn crew to officiate the way they did. So what good would it have done to think too much about it? The crew is going to get together a day or so before the game to decide how they are going to work together.

If you have officials you have seen together, especially regular HS crews, you know what you are going to see. We have adjusted when we know that an official tends to call everything underneath a foul - we wll attack the basket even more than usual, and try to deny an inside attack to our opponents.

I thought the Championship game officials were picked from the semi's.

Saw an ad on TV last week or so, for a similar product with "effectiveness up to 36 hours." Amazingly one of the side effects was listed as (I'm not kidding here), "fatigue and muscle soreness." My 20-year-old son and I were ROTFLourAO!!

Nope.

10 officials who worked regional games (semi's or finals) are selected.

One is an alternate for all 3 Final Four games.

The other nine are split into crews of three, and each crew works one game (Nat'l Semi 1, Nat'l Semi 2, Nat'l Championship).
