Could you be a little more specific? Brands, pee-whistles vs. non-pee whistles? Finger whistles vs. lanyard whistles?

Give us something to work with here. ;)

Peace

Between whistles and what? Speedos, fishnets, Euros, weapons of mass destruction?

no need to apologize for innocent Junior High humor. I've got a five-year-old, and a 14-year=old at home and I've learned to deal with it. Can't get cranky about it for at least another 10 years.

Just to prove how JH I can be I'll tell this oldie-moldie joke.

What's invisible and smells like carrots?

brands of whistles (fox40 ect...)

ref18 Tue Apr 06, 2004 06:46pm

Use the Fox40, with "pea";) whistles, the pea can jam and you'll pop a vein blowing, but no sound will come out.

The Fox40 never fails.

Also, on the diferent blasts of a whistle, does anyone have any helpful hints on how to give the few short blasts, i've tried and tried, and i can't seem to blow short blasts out of my whistle.

You have to have short blasts of air in your whistle combined with hitting your tongue rapidly to the whistle. Think making a 't' sound, but repeating it over and over again: "t t t t t t t."

Just play around with it and practice - it will come with time.

If you read the newspaper article, "Basketball Official Killed By Family Who Were Fed Up Of Practise Whistling In House"

You'll no i'm no longer here ;)

This really gets the spit flowing through the whistle.

Have you been around some of the guys/gals on this forum? That interpretation was PG compared to a lot of what goes on here! LOL
