In a closely-guarded situation, A1 is dribbling in the front court guarded by B1, and the 5 second count is on. B2 replaces B1 in his guarding position. The transition takes place inside 6 ft. of the dribbler. Does the 5 second count continue or start over?

NF (high school) rules - it continues. I believe NCAA rules are different, but a college level official will have to answer that. NBA - only during a Shaq travel or an Iverson carry http://www.ereferee.com/ubb/wink.gif
