Well, that was fun.
Unfortunately, my tickets are for today's game. Looks like a pretty sure rain-out. The Weather Channel does not paint a pretty picture.

I'm pretty sure that we'll get to see the game, whenever it's rescheduled. Not sure exactly how it works, tho. We're still gonna show up at the park, tickets in hand.
Unfortunately, if our Phils/Expos game is rained out on Sunday, they will very likely not bother to make it up.

Random Thoughts - 'Tis time to put Jason Giambi back on roids. The lad is just not a major league player without them. - On that last fly ball, Lofton looked like he was auditioning for next year's contract. From the BoSox. He surrounded the ball. - Howinthehell can you warn both benches about a hit batter by a reliever in the 9th? in a game that tight? Like he WANTED to hit someone at that particular moment? Like the Sox were gonna immediately hit someone in the bottom of the 9th? If that's supposedly a Major League directive, then paranoia reigns supreme. - Branson Arroyo and Tanyon Sturtze? Whatever happened to the great baseball names? Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Van Lingle Mungo..... - Hate to say it, but I think that the Sox have got Rivera's number. He seems to be trying to pitch against them with both hands around his neck. - Manny Fernandez? Gold Glover? - The USA Ryder Cup golf team is starting to remind me of the USA Olympic Basketball team. Great names....no game. |

Frankly, I'm surprised that both benches weren't warned pre-game, given the history the last time Arroyo was the starting pitcher . . .

But, that would be better left to Yankee fans. mick (Hmmm, ... 48 years ago I was a Kiwanis Yankee pitcher.) |
