Don't have books with me to look up, but when does the 10 second count stop? Was asked the following and could not answer: Player bringing ball up from b/c. Straddling the half court line and dribbling in the f/c. He is not yet in f/c, since while dribbling, both feet and ball have not crossed the line. But does the 10 second count stop since he is dribbling in the f/c? Was not sure, so thought this would be the place to find out. Thanks.

And I was right about my NCAA picks. From #1 to #40 over the weekend. And still fallng. Oh well.

The count stops when the ball gains FC status. So, in your scenario above, the count would continue. Think about it this way; if the count has stopped, he cannot go into the bc with the ball. If he can pass to a player in the bc, the count should be ongoing.
