While this is what we all strive to do, it doesn't always happen this way, no matter how good you might be. When looking at a replay from a DIFFERENT ANGLE its easy to say the official was guessing. Maybe from the angle the official had was not a guess. His angle, all be it a bad angle, he may have seen the ball hit the line, at least in his eyes. I've seen ncaa tapes that show how its all about angles.
