1) Game clock correction at the end of the game: Iowa scored with five seconds left to take a two point lead and the clock never stopped. The game clock almost ran out before the officials stopped the clock to correct. The officials went to the replay and got the right time on the game clock.
2) St. Louis inbounds the ball with five seconds left and SL-1 drives the length of the court. SL-1 never goes airborne and dishes the ball off to SL-2 in the corner. SL-1 crashes into I-1 who had established a legal guarding position against SL-1 and runs through him knocking him to the floor. The foul by SL-1 is before SL-2 releases the ball for his three-point field goal attempt. Guess what? No foul. SL-2's shot attempt is good at the buzzer and St. Louis wins. [Edited by Mark T. I wouldn't touch the content with a 10-foot pole -- but it's interesting that you both posted basically the same "concerns". |
