Team A scores a field goal and quickly calls a legal TO. After TO team B has run of baseline for throw-in. They can't get the ball in , so team B calls a legal TO. When play resumes does team B still have the run of the baseline? Was asked this by another official. My opinion was yes, TO should not have changed throw-in? Right or wrong???????

That's right. Check out the Nat'l Federation case book- 7.5.7B.
"Team B has scored a field goal and A1 has the ball along the end line for a throw-in. Team A is not in the bonus. Prior to the ball being thrown inbounds by A1: (d) A2 requests a time-out." "Ruling: In (d), Team A may throw-in from anywhere out of bounds along the end line following the time-out." |
Yes - they can still run the baseline. Time-outs do not change the administration of the game - essentially, you resume the game from exactly where you were when the time-out was called.

That's what I said, that TO should not have changed state of the throw-in!Will pass this info on.
