I shouldn't be doing this because I do not care for the NBA and could care less about what happens until the finals but the other night I watched Shaq back players down in the post and the poor defensive post players didn't have a chance and couldn't even begin to hold their ground against his strength. He initiated the contact time and time again and of course the referrees made the no call that is expected and pretty soon Shaq was at the line shooting free throws because that is the only way to stop him in the post. He gets preferential treatment in the lane and then complains that everyone is pushing him? I was then appalled at the sight of his free throw shot, certainly not a thing of beauty. Great athlete, preferential treatment. I think I will stick to NCAA and high school ball. I enjoy the lack of officiating bias that these sports offer.

I couldn't agree more. The NBA is not basketball...it's entertainment. If a Lakers game was officiated the way a NCAA game was, Shaq would shoot 30 free throws in the first 10 minutes of the game, but he himself would foul out in the 1st quarter.
