Because you might break your wrist like I did. Stupid move. About 4 years ago, I was working in a church gym (old, tile floor, uneven). I was the trail - quick steal - and now, instead of turning and looking over my shoulder, I backpedalled and lost my balance on the uneven floor. The good thing is I put my hand down so I wouldn't hit my head, but I broke the wrist right at the base of the thumb. I am right handed and I had to wear a cast for about 9 weeks. I learned to officiate left handed while I had the cast on.

I knew an official that was at a camp where they had two games going side by side.He was back peddling and clipped the official working the other game, the first thing that hit the floor was the back of his head,he got a fractured skull, and was in intensive care for about a week.

How would your podiatrist know about Matthew's feet?

I'm curious from those with experience

It seems like a few of those words were directed at the officials and included swear words. Given the age of the participants, would anyone have given a flagrant technical and automatic DQ for that player?
