Hey CMathews

Hey CMathews, I heard about your incident. That surprises me because Ive worked several games for that coach, and he seems pretty laid back. It does get old though when a coach is chipping at you all night about ticky tack stuff and especially when his team is getting beat. I had a situation last friday night where a coach tells me, "its too late to make it up now?" I responded with "im not trying to." He proceeded to tell me that me and my partner would never work there again, blah, blah, blah. It will be interesting to see his expression this friday night as I have a game with his team on the road. Im working with an official(one of my friends and good official) from your association.

If a coach says this DURING A GAME, I'd run him if I knew about it. Problem is, most coaches have just enough intelligence not to say something like this.

This is why i'm glad that my association has an assignor, and we don't have to deal directly with the schools, and coaches.
