NCAA women's game yesterday...team A has 7 team fouls.

A1 has ball knocked away. A2 and B2 go for the loose ball. A2 pushes B2 in the back just before B2 can secure the ball. Is this a team control foul on A2, so that B2 will not shoot the bonus free throws?

Is there team control? Yes. Is the foul committed by a member of the team in control? Yes. Is this a team control foul? In a word. . . yes.

Chuck, is your answer relevant for an NCAA women's game? :D

It might be, but I'm not giving any guarantees. :)

Chuck: You are correct. Team B has not gained team control from Team A. The closest casebook play to the situation in the original post is A.R. Ruling 20.
