Does the rule book (NFHS) state which direction jumpers must face during a jump ball? I can't find it.
|
Jumpers can face any direction they want to, as long as they have both feet in the semi-circle that is farther from their basket.

Of course it does.
Try 6-4-1
... For any jump ball, each jumper shall have both feet within that half of the center restraining circle which is farther from his/her basket. |
Ooopps
Maybe I misunderstood the question. Chuck's answer is more complete.

Good catch, DTTB. And yes, BITS, the "inner circle" is what I was thinking about. Duh. I've fixed it now.
