Maryland Georgia Tech men's game. "T" called on GT coach. He continued standing (although a litter quieter) the rest of the game. Does the NCAA not have the seatbelt rule like HS?

Bob,

I have never heard of the seatbelt rule in NCAA. Rule 10-11 deals with flagrant technicals fouls. What gives?

The NCAA does not have a seat belt rule.

10-11 deals with "Bench-Area Restrictions"

OK, you answered yes to a negative question. I misunderstood your answer.

Not to beat a dead horse, but 10-11 deals with Flagrant technicals and 10-10 deals with Bench Area Restrictions.

No Butch, the coach is not required to sit under NCAA rules.

In the 2004 (current) book, section 10-5 was added, pushing all the later sections "back."
