I was at a juco game last night and a player got whistled for not being oob on throw in after basket. She had one foot all the way out, the other was hovering over the line. Did the ref blow this one? How would this be any different than having your hands break the plane when throwing it in?

If the in-thrower has one foot out-of-bounds and the other foot in the air, then that player is out-of-bounds, regardless of relativity to any vertical planes.

Just my guess, champ, but unless you had a really great view, the other foot probably wasn't "hovering".

Can only speak for my neck o' the woods, Mick; but to do juco games around here, you have to be CBOA, meaning eligible to do regular NCAA games.

That just seems like a pretty bush league call to blow for an NCAA official. Plus, as I said, it's just my guess. I didn't see it myself.

U.P. here, I think you have to have a H.S. shirt and black pants. ;)

I didn't see the call either. I know the coach and talked to her after the game. The explanation given to her was that her foot was hovering over the line.
