This is the box score for the game I had last night.

Visiting Team 26 22 10 28 --86
Home Team 20 14 23 26 --83

This has to be one of the highest combined scores I have ever had for a game that did not go into overtime.

What is the highest combined score anyone has had in a game?

Peace

Was this a HS game or college? I've had a D3 game that ended 90 something to eighty something, I've also had a few HS games that ended in the 70's or 80's for each team.

High School game.

I should have made that clearer. High school game. But also Dan, there are 4 quarters listed? :)

I did have a JUCO Men's game where one team scored 100 points, but their opponents only scored like around 40 points. Still did not exceed this total that I had last night.

Peace

103-91. Holiday tourney, my first year of varsity ball. lots of fouls. 66, in fact.

Yeah, my fault, you listed 4 qtrs.

100-40 Juco games are babysitting. Get out of there without a fight starting. I once had an AAU game (I know, doesn't count) where a team from NYC beat a team from the NY/Canada border 112-20.

It almost happen.

We almost had one too. The team with the 100 was dunking and getting excited several times down the floor, we came really close.

I had a girls game two years ago that finished 82-72. Losing team shot 58%, winning team shot 63%. One girl for the winning team was 9-10 from behind the arc, a Minnesota single game record. I think we called 10 fouls the whole game. Not much to call when nearly every shot goes in...

Be careful.

Watch out now. Some of the purist will say you should not do that. ;)

I watched a girls' game over Christmas in which regulation ended tied at 75, I think or 77. With double overtime, game ended in the 90's. It was a heck of a game.

I had an 85-82 thriller last week...Thank God it was 3-man!!! One team hit 15 treys!

Had a girl's HS game last year that was 90-something to 70-something. Love the shot clock, good workout - especially since it was 2-person.

I had a Division 2 Men's game one time with both teams scoring in the 90's combined. But that is about as high as it goes.

My biggest scoring game a few years back in the N.Z. National League: Home team 134, Visitors 139. I was on a high. It took me a few hours to get down. This was 40 minutes of b/ball. I still have the newspaper clipping of the game in my scrapbook.

Had one of these Friday nite (GV with lower score) and one player (freshman) hit 6 treys in a row and nobody ever stepped out to challenge her. Think she wound up with 31 points and 5 or 6 steals.

Girls travel league game 8th grade, running clock w/20 minute halves, so it turns out to be less than an HS game playing time. Final was 69-62. That's a lot of points for that basketball demographic under those rules! Fast paced, fun game.
