Thanks to Mother Nature, the two rec games I was going to work with Juulie this weekend have been canceled.

So there's an ice storm in Portland. Big deal. This is BASKETBALL for cripes sake!

My games were postponed tonight as well.

In fact, the last three times I've been assigned to work at this school, I haven't worked.

Last season = 4 girls from the bball team are involved in a wreck after school, in front of the school.

Football season - Took the field at 700pm, lights went out at 710pm, never came back on.

Tonight - snow.

Weird.

I'd take the hint. Your not supposed to work at that school. I'm afraid if you take the field, a bolt from above may come get you.

When I reminded the booking agent of my bad luck at this school, he said basically the same thing.

My son-in-law David lost over $200 in games this week due to the weather. Youch!

Go back to last Friday, and I've lost at least that much. And I didn't get the game-fee-replacement rider on my liability insurance. Doggone it!

The really bad part, Juulie, is that I was going to show you the new mechanic I invented that combines the "kicked ball" motion with tossing a coach.
