This is my 5000th post! :)

However, all it does is clearly point out that I have no life! :D

mick used to be ahead of me. But all my "discussions" with Rut and Denuuci have pushed me past him, since he refuses to lower himself to my level. Thanks a lot mick. ;)

Tony,

I nominate you for the Forum Hall of Fame. Or something. You are in rareified air.

I have been telling you that for years. http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk.../notworthy.gif

Congrats.....or something like that.

Peace

Congratulations on such a milestone.

This is my second post (just joined today at the urging of one of your pals who helped you achieve this level of success: Mark DeNucci).

According to my calculations you have been a member for 3.33years or 1225 days or 29,400 hours or 1,764,000 minutes or 105,840,000 seconds. This translates to 1501.5 posts per year, 4.08 posts per day, or ...well you get the picture. And you think you have no life.

To cheer you up the above numbers pale if you consider all the time I have spent with Mark on the phone, or in the car, etc talking rules. It does have an upside for me as our 12 hour trips to Connecticut seem to go by in a flash. I start the ball rolling by asking a rules/mechanics question and by the time Mark is done answering we are there.

Looking forward to talking to you in future through this forum.

Here's to the next 5000. ;)

Zman, my wife doesn't call it rareified air, she just shakes the covers and complains. :)

cmatthews, it's probably the other way around, 100 or so posts were teachable moments. :o

Rut, seems more like decades than years.

Reverend, we failed to tell you that I was in prison for 2 of those 3.33 years. You haven't officiated until you've reffed the cons! :D

BTW, anyone who can stand 12 hours in a car with Denucci is a better man that I am.

You must be quite a talker yourself if you manage to squeeze a word in edgewise...

I probably shouldn't reveal this but what Dan says is true. We have people in Cleveland who can make problems like this go away. ;)

It's people like you that have overworked the search function.
Shame, shame.

Forget Cleveland, I grew up in Youngstown, and I KNOW people who can make problems go away.

Don't forget, my friend, that you're one of those people like me as well. :)

Sung to the tune of an old Dire Straits hit. . . "I want my. . . I want my. . . I want my search function!"

Moov-a, moov-a :)

Friends,

All I can say about these threats of violence by people from Cleveland or Youngstown is IDLE WORDS. Given some of the things I have said to Mark in the past I should have been taken care of long ago.

Dan, thanks for the encouragement about hope for me. You can count on me to bring calmness and common sense to any discussion I get in on.

Let me start now. Let us get back to the reason for this string and that is to give Bkballref the accolades he deserves for his 6000 posts.

Ooops, I mean 5000 posts.

Bkball ref: don't let me down. I know you can get to 6000 before the Moderator closes this string.
