I was wondering how everyone handled subbing after a T on a player. If the coach wants to replace the player do you:

1) Sub immediately
2) Between free throws (as stated per rule) or
3) After both free throws?

-Say you are shooting bonus free throws then the technical free throws. If you sub immediately are you then going to bring in any additional subs who want to enter the game? Or do you make them all wait?

I know the rule requires the sub to enter before the last free throw attempt. But thought it would be interesting to see what everyone has to say.

If the coach is trying to get the player who got the T out of the game I will let him sub at that time and anyone else who is at the table may enter to. I feel that this may help the coach keep control of his player and.

In general, I think I try to take care of the "T" with as little activity as possible with absolutely no regard to the "make 'em wait" rule.
Mileage may varey.
