A1 is fouled in the act of shooting and misses the shot. After the foul is reported, A1 has a contact lens out of place and has trouble getting it back in. How long can A1 have to try to get her lens back in before the official requires a substitution?
Also, during the delay for A1's contact lens--with two free throws to come--Team B wishes to substitute. Are the Team B subs required to wait until the contact lens issue is resolved and the first free throw is take before being allowed into the game? |

Often, this works out on it's own: Like Rut said, "judgment"; do what feels good to get a sub, or not. If the clock is stopped, bring in any subs when the entering subs won't be causing additional confusion to the eye lens. mick mick |
