Question

On a shot taken in the paint, who is responsible for calling contact against the shooter? I have heard bits and pieces of what sound like different philosophies on this, and many of them seem contradictory. How do you folks like to handle this?

If we see it, we call it.
If we both, or all three, call it, the Lead will often confirm what he saw, in passing Trail or Center, on his way to the reporting area, while Trail, or opposite, is initiating switch and observing the players.
