Worked a game last night with a rookie partner. So, he's looking up to me as the veteran (My 2nd season).

Anyway, he asked about this hypothetical situation:
A trails B by 1 point late in the 4th quarter. A1 drives to the basket, goes airborne for his shot and is fouled by B1. Tweet-Buzzer-Shot. The ball goes in.

My interpretation: The shot can't count as it was released after the buzzer. The foul happened just before the buzzer and must be assessed. A1 to shoot 2 free throws with the lane cleared. OT determined by how many he makes (or misses as the case may be).

Did I get it right?

According to Case Book play 6.7 Situation C,
you are correct.

Wow, Grail, pretty impressive to get this one correct in your second season. Grizzled vets don't always get these kinds of calls. Good job!
