Does anyone have the anwers to the fed test? I just took it and don't want to wait the month until it gets marked. I wonder if it would be possible for someone to post the anwers on this forum.

Thanks

Fortunately the answers will never be posted on this forum. They, however, could be mailed to you if someone has them.

Why not give us the questions and answers, say one each day, like the tales of a thousand nights and a night . . .
then we could have some serious discussion!

Cool does anyone have answers for the part 2?

Does anyone have the answers for part 2 of the basketball test? For nfhs, I am trying to study for the test tomorrow night, I took the mecanics and got a 89 so if someone could help me I will appreaciate it. I am going to be a new reff and my first game is on saturday wit 5th and 6th graders at a christain school in canton ohio. So if anyone has any pointers for me?

One small tip that could help: Use a mirror and put your uniform on w/ your whistle. Stand in front of the mirror, blow your whistle while you practice the mechanics. Remember a strong fist and practice each of the foul mechanics signals. Then whistle w/ your palm and practice the violation signals and don't forget the rest. You'd be surprised to notice what you actually do look like.

Your mechanics are what matter first--they are your 1st Impression. Good luck.

If you''re studying for the test, why do you need the answers? So you won't have to study?

I am all for practicing in front of a mirror. However, I would strongly advise against blowing the whistle indoors in a small space. I am afraid of the damage the whistle will do after repeatedly practicing. Instead, simply say "Tweet" when practicing your signals. Wait till you're outside to practice that "short, sharp blast".

Just my opinion, of course, but for me this falls under 'better safe than sorry'. Good luck with your games.

In Illinois, the part 1 is for the annual test that referees have to take to stay licensed for that year. The part two is the promotion test going from registered to recognized and from recognized to certified.
