offensive team too many players on free throw lane

A1 is at the free-throw line for one shot. B5 and B4, both in the lane spaces nearest the endline, B3 and B2, along with A5,A4 and A3 line up along the free-throw lane line for the free throw. The officials do not notice that team A has too many players lined up along the free-throw lane line. A1's shot is missed, A3 snares the rebound and lays it back in for two points. At this point, one of the officials awakens from his slumber and realizes the play. Result?
A. Wave off the basket and line up the players so A1 can attempt the shot with only 6 players on the lane line;
B. Wave off the basket and go to the alternating possession arrow;
C. Count the basket and ignore the mistake;
D. Correct the play before the next dead ball.
