Before I ask a question, I like to do a search to see what has been said on that issue before. I tried that today, and I got a message saying the search function has been disabled by the administrator.

If this is a long term thing, then expect to rehash things that have been err- hashed? Not everyone reads the forum every day like you lifers, some of us have real jobs. Ok, not me, but I am sure some people have real jobs:)

Search function? temporarily disabled due to server issues related to heavy traffic - too much of a good thing! As I understand it, they are looking for a good technical solution to handle the traffic and the aditional load caused by searches.

There was a thread about this but you can't find it because search is disabled. . .

Go to google.com and type the following into the search bar
site:www.officialforum.com your-search-string

Keep in mind it takes google a day or two for it to cache pages, so new posts won't show up.
