NFHS

The alternate possession arrow indicates that team B should have the ball to begin the 4th quarter. As B1 attemps the throw-in, A4 fouls B3 who is breaking free to receive the pass. Since this is the 10th foul of the 2nd half, B3 will shoot 2 free throws. The possession arrow will remain pointed in the direction of team B since the ball never legally touched in bounds.

True/False and please site as many rules/case #'s which may apply.

Thanks

TRUE. Since the throw-in never ended the AP Arrow remains pointed toward Team B's basket. Team B will receive the ball for a throw-in the next time a held ball occurs or a situation occurs that requires a jump ball to put the ball back into play. Forgive me for not quoting any Rules or Casebook Plays, but the appropriate NFHS and NCAA rule is Rule 6.

true. 6-3-5 (NFHS)is pretty clear. No other rules or case numbers needed.
