Of course when you cooled down you told her it wasn't her fault & gave her a big hug.

Right? ;)

Obviously she does understand the purpose of call waiting and caller ID, as it is to prioritize which calls are important.

Well, up until yesterday, I always carried at least one pair of slacks in my bag!

Take an old (but serviceable) pair of pants, a shirt, socks, maybe even shoes, and put them in your trunk or the bottom of your bag.

Now, if you forget something, you'll have an emergency back-up.

Short trip no need for back-ups.
Shoes 9 miles away, at home.
Shirt 4 miles away, at home.

Now Juules! That's two slams in a week! First, you tell me that Padgett is the BC maven, (of course, I'm not sure what a "maven" is, so maybe that's okay) and now you tell me that you previously didn't think I was human. How insulting! :o

Nah, if you'll notice, the smiley above is gritting his teeth, so he didn't actually say anything to her. The "Got slacks. http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk/smilie/frust.gif" portion of the program was actually entering the house, yelling "What the hell is wrong with the phone!?!" and then back out the door.

Yep, I left'em at home but if the phone had been answered, my wife could have brought them to me in time for the game. :(

I normally do. But, as I said, I went from FB to BBall in one day and barely had time to get the penalty flags out of and the v-neck into the bag.

I'm all set now.

Been there done that and it's always funnier when it happens to the other guy! :D

And if they were in your bag like they belonged.... :p

(Been there & done that too!)

Hey, blame it on Dan -- he's the one that told me I should be getting in touch with my inner male. Perhaps the wording of the only-human remark was too female, I'll try it again:

It's a relief to know that even Tony makes a mistake once in a while...

Hmmm....didn't Mick recently tell us he reached his 30th anniversary?

Maybe it was the total served for 2 sentences, but time served concurrently?

If you get my meaning... :p

Chuck,
[Mind set] :Short trip no need for back-ups.
Shoes 9 miles away, at home. 2nd time
Shirt 4 miles away, at home. 1st time

Screwed up twice in two different games, before I got dressed.

His math is not all that intuitive either.

Ah. I was thinking: Get to gym, no shoes or shirt. Drive 9 miles home and grab shoe bag. Drive 4 miles back toward game and realize the hangar isn't swinging in the back seat!

By the way, I saw Minnesota on the news this morning, but not Michigan. How much did you get U.P. there, anyway?

DownTownTonyBrown Mon Nov 24, 2003 03:21pm

Here's what I'm wondering about !!!

That's a lot of Dewar's for a 14 year-old! Of course if you spent 3 years at it... maybe you could finish a case - share little with your friends.

;) I can see you all now - passing the Dewar's bottle and petting the bunny.

An official in the making!

Maybe this will clear up your confusion: my kids weren't emptying the case.

Get it now?

Chuck,
Only 5". Yesterday it rained all day at 28F. The White stopped in Duluth when Lake Superior must have dulled it, instead of fed it. Snowin' now. Lake effect snows tonight, it begins.
But it'll end in April! :)
