Actually, if Bush does win after the Florida recount, it will be the first time the Republicans will hold the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives since 1928.
And we all know what happened then. ;( P.S. - the Eisenhower years of 53-55 don't count because Ike slept through them  [Edited by Mark Padgett on Nov 8th, 2000 at 11:45 AM]
