NFHS rules

If the game is stopped by an official for a hurt player and the player is immediately ready to play does that player have to sit out until next dead ball no bench personnel came on the court.

Agree with Nevadaref.

Recent slight rule change: If the coach is only beckoned by an official but chooses not to enter the court, it's either sit a tick, or request and be granted a time out.

So be careful beckoning a coach.

Be careful with the wording.

It may not be the next dead ball.

The clock has to "tick".

The only time a player has to leave is when a coach or trainer comes onto the court to deal with the injury or they are beckoned onto the court (whether they come out to the floor or not). Otherwise, the player can stay.

Peace
