Hemo The Magnificent (1957) ...
During the twenty seconds that is allowed for a player to address any minor blood on the body or uniform without leaving the game or the coach requesting a timeout, is the coach, or trainer, allowed to enter the court to be near the player, of must the player move to the bench area?

If the coach is beckoned or comes on the court the player must leave (or the team takes a TO). If the coach wants to use the 20 seconds for blood, a/he has to stay at the bench. That’s where the trainer will resolve the issue anyway.
