Goaltending call reversed. Who gets the ball?

Men’s college D3 game, late 2nd half. A goaltending call was reversed after replay showed the layup attempt by the visiting team was clearly on the way up. Play resumed with a throw in for the visiting team. I assumed it was an AP throw in since the arrow was pointing to the visitors basket. I saw no indication from the officials or explanation from the TV announcers that it was an AP throw in. Following the throw in the arrow remained toward the visitors for the rest of the game leaving me to wonder if the ruling was to give the ball to the team that last had control. What is the correct ruling?

Heres the ncaa-m rule:

106 ruLE 11 / instant rEpLay
Section 2. Instant Replay—Voluntary Use (Except Where Noted)
Art 1. Officials may use such available equipment only in the following

6. Determine if a basket interference or goaltending call is correct only
when a call/decision has been made. This review shall take place at the
next electronic-media timeout, except during the last four minutes of
the second period or the entire overtime period(s), during which time
the correctable error time frame in Rule 2-12.3 must be used. When
the call/decision on the floor is reversed as a result of the review, the
officials must determine if there was team possession when the call was
made and award the ball to the team if in possession. Otherwise, team
possession will be determined by the alternating-possession arrow.
When the official’s decision is confirmed by Instant Replay review,
the game clock shall be reset to the time remaining when the violation
occurred. When the Instant Replay review indicates that no violation
occurred, the game clock shall be reset to the time that the official
thought the violation occurred
