KU Texas Tech last minute non-calls

Just curious what you guys think of the last 30 seconds, 3 non-calls by a very veteran crew. A lot going on from about the 20 minute mark:

I tend to think that it all happened in a place where none of the 3 had a great angle, and they all passed as it was unclear what happened. Then on the last play with KU dunking, they passed on that since there were a couple train wrecks at the prior end with no whistle.

Seems to me that Wilson helped the TT big to go down in the paint, as you can tell his body is turned, although Wilson may have also simply lost his balance as the TT big backed down and held on for dear life.

Then on the dribble drive, I think that there probably should have been a whistle, as the KU defender didn't have legal position when the TT dribbler got into the paint, and even though he had no where to go and seemed to be losing his footing a bit, there was a little bump that helped him go down.

If you've got a strong ball handler and any contact from a defender not in legal guarding position, probably have to give the benefit of the doubt to the dribbler. But again, none of the 3 had a good look.

The TT big man going down just prior muddied the picture and the concentration of the officials. It was hard to tell real time if he was backing down the KU defender and just had the chair pulled on him, or whether he was in fact pulled down.

Interesting scenario. If anybody has an opinion, please weigh in.

Embedded around the 19:35 mark of the video.

Next to last TT possession.

KU gets away with bear hugging the TT post player.

I have foul on the drive to the basket. KU defender creates contact after being beat and loses his footing causing TT ballhandler to go down (also may have been a trip by help defender who steps over)

Probably a foul on the dunk but can't call that after the contact on the other end.

KU possession around the 0:40-0:30 mark on game clock. #24 sets screen and pulls down defender, but I can see how that gets missed. Shot with 0:32, TT gets away with push on rebound.

The drive, I would need another angle. I do not necessarily have a foul. Not saying there was not one, but looked like the ball handler lost his footing. But a defender in chase mode, any contact is a foul. Just do not see one that I am convinced of.

Peace

There is a video from the angle of the trail somewhere where you can see that the ballhandler was not in great shape as he entered the paint, the defender bumped him from the rear/side and you can see the dribbler pushed to the side, contributing to him going down. None had a good look at it. The drive was a bit ill-advised. But I agree, a good ballhandler that gets contact from a defender not in legal position and goes down, benefit of the doubt should go to the ballhandler.

I also think the action in the paint should have been a foul, you can see the offensive player pulled and turned at an angle consistent with the pull backward.
