backcourt
 
if offense is first to touch in backcourt after defensive deflection AND THEN an offensive touch before it goes backcourt, is it still violation? happened in KU Ind game yesterday and they didnt call it.

Yes in HS and NCAAW.

No in NCAAM. I assume this is the rules set under which the game was played.

The high school rule and the NCAA Men's rule are not the same. Change was made a few years ago.
