It finally happened.

After waiting for five years I was finally able to have my right hip replaced this past Monday morning. So far everything is going well. I saw my physical therapist this past Thursday afternoon and she was happy with my progress so far.

I see my orthopedic surgeon on Sep. 06th for a follow up exam. My surgery was scheduled for 07:30am and was supposed to take from 1:45 to 2:00. Bonnie said my doctor came into the waiting room at 08:15am and told her that my surgery went perfectly.

Next on my schedule is replacing my right knee in early December after Bonnie and I return from a 40th wedding anniversary Caribbean cruise Thanksgiving Week.

We Can't Wait ...

So when are you finally going to get your brain replaced?

Well hallelujah for a good surgical outcome; will you resume reffing hoop eventually as a "performance target"?

Godspeed and best wishes for a speedy recovery Mark, and for your eventual return to the court if that's what you want.
