Richard Jefferson to Referee a Quarter in the NBA Summer League

I want to get some popcorn and see the festivities.

His intention for doing it is apparently quite clear: to see the game from a refs perspective in hopes that the experience will make him a better--if not an altogether comprehensively sharp broadcaster. Beyond the occasional instances of for example, being out of position on rotations, not getting the player numbers right on fouls, incorrectly identifying block/charges, and issuing warranted technical fouls, then he ought to have a fine time.

The NBA invited RJ to do this, he didn't request it.
