"Leaders at the church .... didn’t organize the event", not sure what that means, but the church could have just rented out, or allowed the sponsoring organizations to use, it's gymnasium.

I get what you are trying to say. However, it is ironic that a church property is being used for un-Christian purposes, and that a place called Stronghold isn't really that for the officials.
