is there a limit on the number of people that can be out of bounds for a throw in following a made basket? eg.. Can a1 and a2 be out of bounds, a1 throw it to a2, (a1 remain out of bounds) and then a2 throw it back to a1 (as long as it happens within the 5 seconds allowed?)

If you have a rule to cite that would be helpful.
Ben

no limit
see rule 7.5.7 (last year's book)

"he/she may pass the ball along the end line to a
teammate(s) outside the boundary line"

What is meant by "ex”? After a made basket all 5 team members may be OOB. On a spot throw in only the designated thrower may be OOB.

My favorite use of "e.g." is in the movie Get Shorty where Ray Bones mistakenly uses "i.e." to mean "for example". Anybody else remember that scene in the barber shop? Hysterical. Really.

Is the correct puncuation:
e.g. and i.e. or eg, and ie, ?

Technically, it should take the "dots". But after the American Society of English Teachers started allowing "their" as a singular, I quit listening to them, and I have no idea what they require now in the way of punctuation.
