I understand but if you think they aren't in the Top 60 your fooling yourself. Unless they didn't meet a requirement via arbiter, I'm thinking something happened ( Covid prior to arriving in Indy ). Both of their names are on the list that started this thread....

One was injured prior to the tournament and the other had Covid. They informed JD of their situation after the conference tournaments they worked. The referees selected for the national tournament were notified before the conference tournaments began.

2 will be alternates.
