Is this okay?

While scouting an opponent for a few weeks in preparation to play, Team A's coach notices numerous dirty techniques that Team B uses. This dirty play usually revolves around rebounding, particularly offensive rebounds. Al lot of elbows in the back and Team A's coach was told by a fellow coach that several of his players had pinch marks on their backs from this team.

So officials out there.... are you okay with a coach making officials aware of dirty tactics of an opponent that have been seen on scout film? Or is that something that's not to be done in basketball? I know during pregame football meetings these type of things are frequently discussed by coaches and officials. Thanks for any guidance on this etiquette.
