#1) pretty routine call
#2) I feel this is offensive initiated contact on a defender who's running in a straight line. I don't agree with the call #3) I'm sure the defender embellished the contact, but it was still an offensive foul and Jay Bilas is still an idiot #4) the offensive player was not airborne, therefore the defensive player just needed to establish a legal guarding position and maintain it prior to contact, which he did. I got this play wrong once in a D3 game because I had not rotated in the Lead and I made the call while straight-lined. The Lead official on this play was in the perfect position to see the legality of the defender and to see when the contact occurred. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |
