NFHS Central Hub on Arbiter is no more!

This past Friday morning Camron Rust alerted me to the fact that the NFHS Central Hub can no longer be accessed through Arbiter. It came as a shock to me because I had been accessing for the two day previous and had intended to access Friday afternoon. NFHS is going to partner with DraganFly (DragonFlyMAX.com).

Tomorrow starts the 2020-21 registration period for OhioHSAA Officials and hopefully the OhioHSAA will make a press release soon. I have already emailed the OhioHSAA Administrator in charge of Officials and hope to hear back from him within the next couple of days.

There are currently eight StateHSAAs listed on the DragonFly website. I am good friends with the State Basketball Rules Interpreters (They are long time friends of mine.) of two of the StateHSAAs listed on the website and have emailed them.

If there are any officials who have information regarding their StateHSAA and DragonFly I hope that you will pass on that knowledge on this subject to the rest of the group.

I am going to start a central thread on the General Information Board and ask that all further comments be placed there.

Thank you,

MTD, Sr.

Didn't the NF move all their videos to their website? So what is this new site to do? I looked it up and was still unclear what the content purpose is supposed to be used for and how it benefits us.

Peace

My only concern is access to online rules and case book.

You can always get the nfhs app and download the books. Not free if I recall though...

I'm definitely not trying to give anybody anymore money.

Just received the original announcement from the NFHS from my association secretary. It came out way back in December.

The rulebooks are as convenient as hell. Even if you have something you need to look up quickly, you can easily search the app and find what you need. Yes, it is more money but so worth it for easy search of situations. I buy so many things officiating related every year so I get it.

Full disclosure, I never used the online NF website for that. So that is me talking from my perspective. Illinois has not been a full member of the NF for a long time. So much of that was never available to us in the first place.

Peace

I’ve always preferred the Kindle version of books.
