A lot of us call back to back games and they sometimes only put 10 minutes on the clock between games. The most imporant games is always the last game. What stratagies do you use to get back onto the court quickly in order to officiate the pregame in a timely fashion?

Our varsity games, after a JV game, always are allowed 20 minutes of warm-up.
When we work a 3-whistle double, we're on the floor at 16.
When we work a 2-whistle double, we try to get on the floor at 10.

All I do, between games, is take 16-24 oz. of water while sitting, and try to stretch a little just before is go back out.

Some of us here do back to back GV then BV.

In that situation, I drink as much water/powerade as I can without getting sick and go over pregame again with my co. We usually take situations from the previous game and look over the mistakes we made so we can prevent that in the BV game.

Also--I, personally, tell the scorekeeper to have the books ready to go when we come back out. That way, we aren't spending forever having asst. coaches filling out books when it's time to tip off.

I always tell them to put at least 15 on the clock. And I also tell them not to start the clock until the teams are on the floor. Because I do not want any Ts to start the game at all. This also gives us time to get our jackets and go to the bathroom and do whatever before we go back for the pregame activities.
